Synthetic Swimwear Care

BeachCandy swimwear is handcrafted locally in Los Angeles and designed to last season after season when cared for properly.

Hand Wash & Soak

Fill a basin with cool water and add a small capful of swimwear cleanser. Gently hand wash your swimsuit, then let it soak for 20–30 minutes until any chlorine or saltwater scent is gone. Rinse thoroughly and hang to dry in a cool, shaded area.

Protect the Craft

Avoid exposure to harsh chemicals and rough surfaces, which can damage the fabric and hand-sewn Swarovski crystal detailing. Do not wring out the swimsuit, place it in a plastic bag while wet, or wrap it in a towel.

What to Avoid

To preserve the life of your suit, never machine wash, tumble dry, or spot clean with harsh solutions. High heat, whether from sunlight or dryers, may also affect the longevity of your swimwear.
