FRAME TECHNOLOGY

The frame is handcrafted out of premium Italian cellulose acetate from Mazzucchelli 1849. The temple arms are precision mounted with custom five-barrel stainless steel hinges and feature a wire core for adjustability in fit and comfort for the most high-quality designer eyewear.

These sunglasses are carefully manufactured and made in Italy by Carl Zeiss using raw sustainable materials. The frame and lenses crafting is looked at and executed with detail guaranteeing you top-notch sunglass results.

LENS TECHNOLOGY

Laser-etched with the signature Z, nylon lenses by Carl Zeiss are the ultra-premium, impact-resistant, and optically pure. They provide 100% UVA and UVB procession with precise clarity. The lenses are the safest they come with all the style you desire, What more could one need in lenses? The gorgeous and high-quality BONNIE has got you covered.

Carl Zeiss’s process begins with using raw materials and tiny plastic palettes. From there, the color of the lens ordered depends on different pigment colors blended to create the desired result. 

The pigment then gets mixed with the raw materials through an extrusion process to achieve well distribution of the color. The injection molding process begins shortly after where the lenses get molded into their shape and placed on a conveyor belt where they must pass an individual vision inspection. 

Once passed for inspection the lenses undergo a bath in a cleaning solution followed by a hard coating solution to give you a sturdy and scratch-resistant lens. Once the lens has been crafted perfectly it will arrive at a second quality control station. 

Once the manufacturing process has ended, random lenses are selected for lab testing which includes many tests for maximum quality. After passing all of these steps with careful execution, then the lenses can be released outwards.
