1. 1000 Steps Beach
This little nook is located in beautiful Laguna Beach! While it is quite the workout dealing with the stairs, it is completely worth it when you see the view! 2. Newport Beach
Of course Newport Beach is a must to check out while in Southern California! It is home to some of the most epic waves, a ritzy harbor full of beautiful sailboats and yachts, and an incredible shopping district.

3. El Matador Beach

4. La Jolla Cove
While this may be one of the smaller coves in Southern California, it is also one of the most photographed. This spot also attracts snorkelers and scuba divers from around the world due to visibility that extends 30 feet deep and lots of protected wildlife. 5. Crystal Cove State Park
This secluded beach is home to some of California’s most beautiful reefs, tide pools, coves and wooded acres that are perfect for exploring.
